This set consists of 234 pieces and aims to provide "3 experiences to build and play with 1 set".
The instructions offered in this set by Lego allow you to build a fire dragon, a sabre-tooth tiger or a scorpion.
The fire-breathing dragon has a highly articulated head with a jaw that opens and closes, and legs, tail, wings and claws that can be positioned in different ways.
The use of various connecting elements allows for a wide range of articulations, giving the dragon great versatility. The dragon measures around 11 cm in height, 32 cm in length and 25 cm in width and also has a treasure chest with a sword, gold and precious stones - ideal for combining with medieval-themed sets.
For me, the best use of parts was in the dragon's head. Taking into account the specialized parts limitations of this type of set (3 in 1), you get a very appealing shape to the lower jaw and an interesting use of yellow teeth to make the eyes.
The secondary constructions (sabre-tooth tiger and scorpion) are neither as powerful nor as versatile, as a result of the limited number of pieces.
The tiger is somewhat misshapen, the eyes make it look more like it's from a zombie world than from nature as we know it, and the positions in which we can place the tiger are quite unnatural. The Scorpion is very simple, but it manages to be more faithful to reality and pleasing to the eye, with a good degree of tail articulation, but that's about it. Both have a considerable number of left over pieces.
I've built both versions, but I have to confess that if in other 3-in-1 sets I've bought two units to get the main construction and a secondary one, that wasn't the case here... or rather it was, but not for the Lego secondary ones.
I have a deep admiration for MOCs built from sets without the use of additional pieces, and if MOCs from sets with 2000 or 3000 pieces impress with the flexibility that the author has to have in choosing and using the pieces, in sets with 250 pieces its imagination that reigns because there's no room for maneuver.
Out of mere curiosity, and even before I bought the set, I went to research opinions about it and what I found left me speechless and very enthusiastic.
I've come across a large number of MOCs with this set, I'd even venture to say that it's one of the 3-in-1 sets with the most MOCs. The vast majority were animals (nowadays ones or dinosaurs) but I also found transformers! Some better, others not so good (I'll give you a list below).
So I decided to buy two sets, one for the Dragon and the second for a tarantula.

A solid, dense construction, all the legs have two joints, the fangs are also quite positionable, the same technique as the Dragon was used here to form the eyes. The shape of the tail, given the parts available, was relatively appealing. It would have been interesting if it had been a little rounder at the back, but even so it captures really well the arachnid spirit.
It should be noted that the number of pieces left over from this secondary construction is somewhat high considering the 234 pieces in the set, but we are only limited by our imagination.
I'll leave you with a list of other construction options to suit all tastes:
