Bricklink has unveiled the five finalists for Bricklink Designer Program Series 9, each one promising a unique building adventure filled with clever techniques and rich details.
The lineup: Wild West Blacksmith by Llucky, The Fisherman’s Village by rocknbricks31, Sleepy Dragon Inn by MarinBD, Woodbrick Freight Depot by Mind_the_Brick, and Pumpkin Patch by SofieBuilds.
Series 9 also marks the return of alumni designers Llucky and Mind_the_Brick, both veterans of earlier rounds. Their craftsmanship shows why the program continues to thrive. The Fisherman’s Village, a seaside stunner with nearly 4,000 pieces, is my favorite already. Its stilts, piers, and lighthouse give it motion and mood. On the fantasy side, Sleepy Dragon Inn (2,981 pieces) because it brings the D&D flavor.
If you prefer gears and cargo, Woodbrick Freight Depot (2,199 pieces) complete with wagons and sliding doors. For a smaller dose of joy, Pumpkin Patch (565 pieces) packs in cozy autumn colors and a playful harvest scene Rounding out the group, Wild West Blacksmith (2,513 pieces) hammers together wood, stone, and nostalgia into one frontier-ready workshop.
Crowdfunding doesn’t open until October 2026, so there’s time to pick your favorite and plan shelf space. Meanwhile, Series 7 launches on 16 February 2026, and Series 8 follows on 1 June 2026, keeping all of us busy through the year.
So, which model will win a spot on your table? The village, the inn, the depot, the forge, or that patch of pumpkins?
