LEGOLAND® Donates Thousands of Tickets for World Play Day: 100,000 Hours of Play for Children in Need

Play changes lives. And this World Play Day, LEGOLAND® and the LEGO® Group are turning promises into action. Thanks to guests at the first-ever LEGO® Festival, 14,000+ tickets are being donated to children and families in need, unlocking 100,000 hours of play for those who need it most.

A Global Play Movement

During the LEGO® Festival, held across seven LEGOLAND parks over six weekends, 72,928 guests signed a "Play Pact"—committing to build more, laugh louder, and keep play alive. Now, those pledges are becoming real opportunities for children in vulnerable situations.

"Because of the guests who joined the festival and made a Play Pact, we can now create magical moments for families who need them most," says Rebecca Snell, Senior Vice President of the LEGOLAND Brand. "We know how precious it is for families to have time together, filled with joy and play."

A Special Day for Danish Families

In Denmark, LEGOLAND Billund, the LEGO® Group, and Merlin’s Magic Wand are partnering with Save the Children to host a free family play day later this year. It’s a chance for families to experience the power of play together, with no barriers.
