CPH Toys 2025 Brings Nostalgia to Copenhagen

The CPH Toys 2025 fair filled Hafnia-Hallen in Valby with the sights and sounds of childhood. More than 200 stands offered everything from He-Man, Ninja Turtles, and Transformers, to stacks of comics, retro gaming consoles, and shelves of vintage LEGO®. The atmosphere had a curious mix of collectors, families, and casual visitors, all chasing a memory they once held in their hands. A Star Wars parade with Troopers For Charity even added a touch of theater, giving the event more than just shopping appeal.

What struck me most was how much LEGO® you could spot at nearly every booth. Rare minifigures, older sets that haven’t been on store shelves for decades, and small bags of unusual bricks showed up in surprising corners. Some were displayed by private collectors, others by toy shops, but together they reminded us that Denmark is still the true homeland of LEGO®. If you were hunting for that one special piece from your childhood, this was the place.

Several of these LEGO® sellers will also be setting up again at Klodsevent in Sorø on 11 October 2025, an event already shaping up to be a highlight for Danish brick fans. Martin Benischek, who is helping with the organization, has confirmed that visitors can expect serious LEGO® variety there too. For anyone who left CPH Toys with a wish list still unfinished, Klodsevent looks like the next opportunity to cross items off.

I’d recommend marking your calendar for the next edition of CPH Toys. It’s not just a toy market, it’s a time capsule. And yes, brick.news will be there again, searching for the next forgotten LEGO® gem and reporting back for all fans who are built for fans.
