Family wins a LEGO version of their house with a view in LEGOLAND

Over 1,000 families from all over the country submitted pictures for a competition, and a family from Saksild, Denmark had a unique experience on Saturday. Jesper and Anna Rais participated in a competition, where the prize was to build a miniature version of their house in Legoland.

The miniature house is not on a 1:1 scale, but is otherwise a faithful copy of the real house, complete with Lego figures of the family members. The reveal of the miniature house took place on Saturday when ten-year-old Elinor Rais lifted the red cloth that was hiding it.

The miniature house is located on a 10,000 cubic centimetre plot with a view of both Amalienborg and the Eiffel Tower. It took three weeks to build the Rais family's house in Saksild.

The competition was organized by estate agent chain Home, and 1,075 families entered by submitting photos of themselves, their houses, and pets.

The Lego house is one-twentieth the size of the real house, and the Rais family will get to keep it when the season ends on December 31.
