The LEGO® Star Wars theme never fails to excite, and the 327th Star Corps Clone Troopers Battle Pack (75431) is no exception. Officially revealed for an August 1, 2025 release, this set is already sparking conversations—and not just because of its iconic yellow-armored troopers.

What’s in the Box?
The set includes 258 pieces, seven minifigures, and two small builds: an AT-RT walker and a Dwarf Spider Droid. The minifigure lineup is the star here, with four 327th Clone Troopers featuring updated Phase II helmets, detailed torso and leg printing, and a range of blasters. Three Super Battle Droids round out the roster, identical to those in the 75372 Clone Trooper & Battle Droid Battle Pack.

The AT-RT walker is a standout, sporting the 327th’s signature yellow markings and a brick-built design that’s both sturdy and detailed. Opposing it is the Dwarf Spider Droid, which, while simple, includes posable legs and a central cannon with a stud shooter.
The Good
Minifigures: The 327th Clone Troopers are the main draw. Their updated helmets and printing are faithful to the source material, and the inclusion of a rangefinder (first seen in 75409 Jango Fett’s Starship) adds variety. The Super Battle Droids are solid, if familiar, additions.

Builds: The AT-RT is a highlight, with a striking color scheme and improved details over past versions. The Dwarf Spider Droid is also well-executed, with better proportions and articulation than previous iterations.
The Controversy
The price is the elephant in the room. At €39.99 (€39.99 / $44.99 / £34.99 / 399.99 DKK / 449.99 SEK / 179.99 PLN / 229.99 BRL), this battle pack is significantly more expensive than its predecessors. For comparison, 75372 Clone Trooper & Battle Droid Battle Pack offered similar content for €29.99 just a year and a half ago. Many fans argue that the increase is hard to justify, especially since battle packs are traditionally meant for army building and affordability.

Community Reaction
Reactions are mixed. Some fans love the updated troopers and builds, while others bemoan the price hike. As one reviewer put it, “The 327th Troopers are cool. The lack of cloth kamas doesn’t bother me, and the new Jango rangefinder looks good. I also like the plastic pauldrons. The AT-RT looks cool with that striking color scheme, but that stud shooter looks ugly.” Others are more blunt: “The price is really magnified by [75372] still being on the market. If you were only to buy one or the other, I can’t think of a single reason I’d recommend this one instead.”

Should You Buy It?
If you’re a Clone Wars or Revenge of the Sith fan, the 327th Star Corps Clone Troopers are a must-have. The minifigures alone make this set worth considering, especially if you’re into army building. However, the price is a major sticking point. If you can wait for a discount, it might be worth holding off.
For now, the LEGO® Star Wars 75431 327th Star Corps Clone Troopers Battle Pack is a great set let down by its cost. It’s a reminder that while LEGO® continues to deliver high-quality minifigures and detailed builds, the value proposition isn’t always there.
Will you be adding this to your collection, or is the price too steep?
