The holiday season just got brighter. LEGOLAND® Billund is rolling out its annual Christmas in LEGOLAND® celebration, and this year, the magic isn’t confined to the park. From November 30 to December 31, guests can dive into a world of twinkling lights, festive activities, and even a chance to hunt for LEGO® Santa beyond the park gates.

Christmas Lights, Treats, and Snowy Fun

Step inside the park, and you’ll find yourself surrounded by festive LEGO® decorations, the scent of roasted almonds, and the taste of warm æbleskiver (Danish pancake balls). The fun doesn’t stop there. Visitors can challenge each other to indoor snowball fights, race down sledding hills, or glide across the ice rink. And, of course, the rides are still running for those who want a thrill between the holiday cheer.
The LEGO® Santa Scavenger Hunt
This year, LEGO® Santa is on the move and he’s bringing gifts. Alongside the LEGOLAND® Christmas Princess, he’ll be making secret appearances around the country. Find him first, whisper the secret codeword, and you could win his sack full of LEGOLAND® goodies. Miss him outside? Don’t worry. Snap a photo with LEGO® Santa inside the park, post it on Instagram with #julilegoland, and you might still win a gift bag in a random draw.

"At LEGOLAND®, we want to create memorable experiences for kids and adults alike," says Michael Ottesen, director of LEGOLAND® Billund.
"This year, we’re spreading a little extra joy outside the park, too, for those who might not make it to Christmas in LEGOLAND®."

Free Entry for the Tree Lighting
The celebrations kick off on November 30 with the lighting of the 10-meter-tall LEGO® DUPLO® Christmas tree. From 4 PM to 6 PM, the park opens its doors for free, giving everyone a taste of the holiday magic. The tree lights up at 5 PM, accompanied by carols from the Sønderjysk Pige- og Drengekor (a local children’s choir) and live music from the LEGOLAND® Billund Garden band.

Extended Hours for Extra Holiday Fun
Christmas in LEGOLAND® runs on 17 selected days from November 30 to December 31. The park stays open late every Saturday in December (10 AM to 8 PM), with regular hours (10 AM to 5 PM) on other days. On December 31, the park closes at 4 PM, so plan accordingly.
