After months of buzz and 100 giant balloons hiding the entrance, LEGOLAND® Billund finally pulled back the curtain on its latest attraction: the LEGO® DUPLO® Peppa Pig™ Playground. Families gathered as the countdown ended, balloons scattered, and the world’s first real-life fusion of LEGO DUPLO and Peppa Pig was revealed. The sky filled with bubbles, and children rushed in to meet Peppa, her family, and other characters from the hit animated series.
Christian Woller, LEGOLAND’s director, couldn’t hide his excitement.
“Opening a new area is always thrilling, but being the first in the world to combine LEGO DUPLO and Hasbro’s Peppa Pig makes this extra special. We’re proud of what we’ve built, and it looks like our guests are too—they’ve already given it their stamp of approval.”
From Brick to Reality: A Playground Built for Fans

The playground mirrors the upcoming LEGO DUPLO Peppa Pig product line, bringing familiar scenes from the show to life. Michaela Edgerley Šťovíček, Head of Product for LEGO DUPLO, shared her enthusiasm: “We aim to spark imagination in our youngest builders. Seeing this collaboration come alive at LEGOLAND is like stepping into a LEGO DUPLO box. Kids can explore here and then continue the fun at home with their own sets.”
Peppa and George’s Puppet Show Steals the Spotlight

One of the main attractions is a live puppet show starring LEGO DUPLO versions of Peppa and her little brother, George. The show plays out on a stage with a digital backdrop, while families relax in soft bean bags. Christian Woller noted, “The puppet show has been a hit, especially with the little ones. It’s clear they know and love Peppa’s world.”
A Playground for Every Family

The area is packed with Peppa Pig favorites: snap a photo at Peppa’s house, climb into the family’s red car, play on Grandpa Pig’s boat, or jump in muddy puddles—all in a LEGO DUPLO world designed for creativity and play. “This is a space where our youngest guests can spend hours exploring,” Woller added. “The reaction today has been fantastic, and we can’t wait to see how families enjoy it all season long.”
Why This Matters for LEGO and Peppa Pig Fans
For parents and toddlers, the playground bridges the gap between screen time and hands-on play. It’s a chance to dive into Peppa’s adventures, build with oversized LEGO DUPLO bricks, and make memories together. And let’s be honest—if there’s one thing built for fans, it’s a place where Peppa Pig and LEGO DUPLO collide in a riot of color, laughter, and muddy puddles.
So, who’s ready to pack their bags for Billund? The muddy puddles (and bricks) are waiting.
