The helmet is back, the cape is flowing, and Grogu still looks like he snacks more than he saves. Yes, The Mandalorian is trading streaming screens for cinema seats in 2026. The first trailer for The Mandalorian and Grogu just dropped, and aside from the usual Star Wars fireworks, it’s basically a gift-wrapped catalog of possible LEGO® Star Wars sets.
This isn’t a small move either. May 22, 2026 is the official theatrical date, and that alone means LEGO® designers are probably sketching feverishly. Why? Because every frame seems engineered for plastic brick translation.
Razor Crest 2.0 And Droid Rumbles
Fans already miss the retired LEGO® Razor Crest UCS set, but the trailer flashes a ship that screams “Version Two.” Maybe not identical, but close enough to demand a box on shelves. Add to that a chaotic battle with robotic fighters, and you can almost hear the clink of new minifigures tumbling into your collection.

Droids have always been LEGO® gold. The Clone Wars proved it. If these new designs make it to theaters, expect fresh battle packs, maybe even a buildable Droid for your desk.
Enter The Hutts
Then there’s the blink-and-you-miss-it shot of what looked like a very swole Hutt. If LEGO® dares, a Hutt-centric set could be the spiritual cousin of Jabba’s Palace. Picture a chunky brick-built Hutt, a throne room, and a few grubby bounty hunters. It’s messy, it’s fan service, and it’s exactly the kind of thing collectors love.

From Screen To Bricks
Trailers lie, sure. Shots get cut, storylines shift. Still, LEGO® history tells us where Star Wars goes, bricks follow. If The Mandalorian is really anchoring Star Wars’ theatrical comeback, then a new surge of LEGO® sets, exclusive minifigures, and maybe even another Ultimate Collector Series monster isn’t just likely. It’s inevitable.
Grogu on screen means Grogu in bricks. Again. And again.
