"World of Wonders" the next potential LEGO offer

Once again, it is the building instructions section of the LEGO website that has provided us with a sneak peek of the upcoming offer, the LEGO 40585 World of Wonders.

The set features 4 mini-replicas of famous landmarks from around the world, including the Khazneh of Petra, the Taj Mahal, the Great Wall of China, and the Parthenon.

Two of these landmarks have already been featured in the LEGO Architecture range, with the references 21041 Great Wall of China and 21056 Taj Mahal.

While the concept behind the set is admirable, it appears that the reproductions may be rough and not as detailed as one would hope.

Additionally, the black elements in the set appear to be stickers, rather than stamped, which detracts from the overall aesthetic.
