When a story survives for over 200 years, it earns the right to a brick-built tribute. Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice, published in 1813, is one of those rare novels that keeps rewriting itself across time, and now, it might just find its latest form in LEGO®.

TJ Bricks’ Pemberley - Pride and Prejudice project has hit the magical 10,000 votes on LEGO® Ideas, placing it officially under review for a potential release. LEGO® will decide between May and June whether Mr. Darcy’s grand estate will become an official set.
A House That Changed Everything
In Pride and Prejudice, Pemberley is where Elizabeth Bennet’s sharp judgments soften, where pride bends toward love. As Austen wrote, “It was a large, handsome, stone building, standing well on rising ground". The estate’s quiet beauty exposes Darcy’s sincerity, reshaping Elizabeth’s understanding of him and herself.

This model captures that moment of transformation. The LEGO® build recreates the Georgian symmetry and the naturalistic riverbank described in the novel.
Inside the LEGO® Pemberley
TJ Bricks’ attention to detail is what earns this project, the interior unfolds like chapters in a book:
Entrance Hall with its sweeping staircase.

Darcy’s Study, where that infamous letter was written.

Drawing and Music Rooms, complete with Georgiana’s piano.

Gallery, featuring a brick-built statue of Mr. Darcy himself.

Outside, you’ll find the arched stone bridge, the flowing river, and even a sign for Pemberley, each feature referencing Austen’s descriptions.

Included minifigures bring the story to life: Elizabeth Bennet, Fitzwilliam Darcy, Georgiana Darcy, Mr. and Mrs. Gardiner, Mrs. Reynolds, and Mr. Bingley, who’s forever “en route.” There’s even a horse-drawn carriage for Elizabeth’s fateful visit.
Why LEGO® Fits Austen
TJ Bricks explains this best: “LEGO® is about imagination, creativity, and storytelling.” Building Pemberley in LEGO® honors the elegance of Georgian design and the human drama hidden within it.

A Timely Romance Reimagined
Interest in Austen’s world keeps growing, with a new Netflix adaptation on the way. It’s perfect timing for this project to reach review status. Fans have already shown they want it, 10,000 supporters strong, and with three other projects also in review this round, the excitement is high.
Jane Austen once wrote, “There is no charm equal to tenderness of heart.” In LEGO® form, there may now be no charm equal to tenderness of build.
