The popular mobile game, LEGO Legacy: Heroes Unboxed, is set to retire on February 28, 2023, across multiple platforms including the Google Play Store, App Store, Windows, Samsung Galaxy Store, Amazon Appstore, and Huawei App Gallery.

The announcement was made on the game’s social media channels, and players are able to transfer their progress to the Facebook Cloud Gaming version via information found on the game’s Discord server.

Trailer of LEGO Legacy: Heroes Unboxed

LEGO Legacy: Heroes Unboxed, which was launched in July 2019, is an RPG-style mobile game featuring minifigures from various classic and modern LEGO themes, battling against each other.

It has had a successful three-year run, with the inclusion of Ghostbusters, free in-game items during the early days of the pandemic, and a LEGO Ideas contest.

This is not the first LEGO app to end recently, as both Hidden Side’s accompanying software and VIDIYO’s physical sets have been discontinued, which prompts the future of the gaming and mobile apps from LEGO.
