Following last year’s charming buildable Groot, LEGO has officially announced the launch of another Marvel buildable Groot set, scheduled for release on August 1, 2023.
The new model, 76249 Venomised Groot, is priced $5 lower than the previous model, 76217, at £46.99 / $49.99 / 52.99€, but contains more pieces, amounting to 630 in total.
This newly constructed Groot model presents a less adorable and more menacing appearance, showcasing the venomized effect through numerous stark black pieces and subtly gruesome elements.
The model includes a large, protruding tongue, sharp teeth, a prominent white eye, and smaller venomized creatures emerging from Groot’s back and arms. Moreover, akin to the standard buildable Groot, the 76249 Venomised Groot offers a range of movements, all for the $50 price tag.
