The LEGO enthusiast community has been buzzing with rumors about this 18+ Gringotts Bank set for some time. Today, the company released official images of the set, displaying the intricately designed bank and its unique minecart dungeon system.
The 76417 Gringotts Wizarding Bank – Collector’s Edition is constructed at Minifigure scale, seamlessly integrating with the previously released Diagon Alley set. Priced at £369.99 / $429.99 / €429.99, it’s more than just a corner modular building – the set includes an underground rail system complete with a rail cart. The Gringotts building module is removable from the beneath-positioned minecart system, allowing a direct connection to the 75978 Diagon Alley.
The minecart system can be enjoyed separately and can also be displayed on its own, although it remains part of the larger set. An engaging drop-down feature ensures the minecarts gain enough momentum to whirl around the vaults. This functionality extends through the three dungeons in the set, including Bellatrix’s dungeon that holds a secret surprise.
The set doesn’t stop at Gringotts Bank and the minecart system. Also included is a brick-built model of the Ukranian Iron Belly Dragon, offering various display options. It can perch atop the Gringotts building or hide within the dungeons and minecart system. The dragon contributes to the variety of the 18+ set, which stands 75 cm tall and 32 cm wide.
In keeping with the Minifigure scale, the 4,807-piece set comes with a generous assortment of Minifigures. 76417 includes 13 figures, such as Harry and Hagrid from the first film, and Harry, Hermione in her Bellatrix guise, and Ron in his disguise from the seventh film. The set also includes Bogrod, Griphook, Rickert, two generic goblins, two guards, and a Death Eater.
