Today, the LEGO Group unveiled its most extensive modular set in terms of piece count, and one of the most eagerly anticipated building themes by fans – the LEGO® Icons Natural History Museum.
The LEGO Icons Natural History Museum set is a perfect addition to the LEGO Modular Buildings Collection. It showcases innovative architecture, introduces new building techniques, and offers countless amusing stories. The two-story model comes with dual atriums, a removable roof and an intermediate floor, all packed with brick-built exhibits and intricate details.
Upon entering, visitors are greeted by a massive brachiosaurus skeleton made entirely of bricks. This dinosaur is so tall that its neck rises above the first floor and extends to the second. It is surrounded by several smaller displays, including a saber-toothed tiger skull, a fossil, and even dinosaur eggs. On the same floor, the museum’s geology section features a vibrant collection of quartz, geodes, stalagmites, and a cross-section projection of the Earth with its molten core.
As one progresses to the second floor, they can spot a large map of the earth showing the projected orbit of a new rocket, a detailed planetarium of the solar system, and a diorama of a future space base. Atop the building, the museum’s curator narrates experiences and journeys from his intricately detailed office while penning down memoirs.
Gear up for a journey from the past to the future and celebrate key moments of world history with the LEGO Icons Natural History Museum set.
