Unveiling the Upcoming Sonic the Hedgehog LEGO Sets and Brickheadz (40627 and 40628)

Thanks to The Brick Fan that is following the LEGO releases at the San Diego Comic-Con, we now have two more new LEGO Brickheadz, set to be released a month later on 1st September 2023.

The two Brickheadz, modeled after the iconic Sonic the Hedgehog characters, Sonic and Tails, are slated to hit the shelves on the said September date. The Sonic model, bearing the set number 40627, and the Tails model, coded 40628, will be available at the standard single-pack LEGO Brickheadz price of £9.99 / $9.99 / €9.99.

What’s more, reports suggest that the LEGO Sonic the Hedgehog theme and the corresponding Brickheadz line will not be a fleeting affair. Fans can look forward to the theme extending well into 2024, with Eggman and Amy likely to join the LEGO family in the form of brick-built figures.
