Grab a stake and a library card, because the Sunnydale High School Library just got the brick treatment. Buffy the Vampire Slayer, built by LEGO® Ideas designer Martin_Studio, has reached the full 10,000 supporters and now heads into LEGO® review. For a show about facing down the forces of darkness, that is one bright spot on the Hellmouth.
The roughly 1,200-piece model recreates the Library, the room where Buffy and her friends did their research, hatched their plans, and became a found family. Six minifigures come along for the ride: Buffy, Willow, Xander, Giles, Angel, and Spike. That is the whole Scooby Gang, give or take a vampire or two with questionable loyalties.
The interior is packed with easter eggs that reward anyone who stayed up late binge-watching. Spot the Vampyr book, a poster nodding to Oz's band, Angel's soul orb, the "Kiss the Librarian" mug, and a tiny rat standing in for Amy. (Did you catch that reference on the first watch? Be honest.) Tucked into the design is a small detachable scene inspired by The Bronze, Sunnydale's favourite club. You can display it beside the Library or hide it away as a secret surprise for fellow fans, and that is a lovely bit of building you can play with.

Martin_Studio built this one from the heart, watching the show with his girlfriend and marvelling at how witty and timeless it holds up. He pitched the Library as the true centre of the series, a place of learning, teamwork, and growing up, which maps neatly onto what makes a good LEGO® build sing.
With 403 comments and the goal already crossed, this one now waits to see if the LEGO® review team gives it a pass. Will Sunnydale's library finally earn a spot on your shelf? Here's hoping the fate of this build does not end in a season finale cliffhanger.
