Meet Chihiro & No-Face (Piggy Bank), the LEGO® Ideas project that transforms Studio Ghibli's most mysterious character into a functional coin collector. Builder NasqBrick has captured the iconic No-Face from Spirited Away in brick form, complete with little Chihiro and the bridge where they first met. This isn't just a display piece (though it looks fantastic on any shelf) , it's a working mechanical masterpiece.

The genius lies in the engineering. Tilt No-Face's head back 25 degrees, and watch his hand rotate at twice that angle, lifting a sake cup that serves as the coin slot. A hidden gear system drives the entire mechanism, ensuring coins drop perfectly into his mouth and fall into a storage compartment inside his body. NasqBrick built and tested the mechanism himself , it works flawlessly! The coin compartment slides out from the front for easy emptying, whether you're collecting spare pocket change or saving for your next LEGO® haul.

As an engineer with a passion for moving parts, NasqBrick wanted to create something that combined his love of Studio Ghibli with functional play. He'd never seen No-Face tackled in LEGO® form before, making this project both a tribute to Hayao Miyazaki's animation and a celebration of clever mechanical design. The surrounding scene featuring Chihiro and the wooden bridge adds narrative depth that any Spirited Away fan will recognize instantly.

With 10,000 supporters already secured, Chihiro & No-Face (Piggy Bank) now enters the review phase where LEGO® designers will evaluate its potential for production. Whether you're an anime enthusiast or simply love ingenious builds with moving parts, this project proves that the most magical sets combine nostalgia with genuine functionality. Will No-Face help you save enough coins for your next LEGO® adventure?
