The LEGO® community loves realism, and Jagamax has taken it to new heights with his Fruits Basket project. With 1257 pieces, it recreates a colorful bowl of fruit that looks almost edible. Each apple, pear, banana, and grape cluster captures texture and tone with remarkable precision. The concept draws inspiration from trompe-l’œil art, where objects deceive the eye by looking real from a distance.

The model celebrates the theme of everyday objects in LEGO® form, following the success of builds like the Typewriter, Globe, and Sheriff’s Safe. Measuring 22 by 22 by 13 centimeters, this display piece fits perfectly among home decor or on a collector’s shelf. With over 3500 supporters, Jagamax’s creation could soon reach the 10,000 votes needed for official LEGO® review.

Beyond nostalgia and artistry, the Fruits Basket reinforces a growing LEGO® trend: turning ordinary items into art, design, and mindfulness experiences. Fans believe this concept could inspire more fruits or a complete kitchen decor series under LEGO® Ideas, blending creativity with simplicity in pure brick form.
