Shell yeah! The LEGO® Ideas Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 1987 project has officially crossed the 10,000 supporter finish line, bringing us one step closer to reliving the radical animated series that defined a generation. Creator TrumanBricksFan has crafted something truly tubular that captures the essence of those classic Saturday morning cartoons.

What makes this build so special? Picture the iconic Sewer Lair stacked right underneath Shredder's pizza joint, just like in that memorable episode where our favorite villain tried to lure the heroes with questionable turtle soup. The modular design lets you detach each level for easy play access, making it perfect for recreating those epic underground adventures.

The set doesn't stop at the lair. You'll find the legendary Party Wagon ready for street patrol, complete with opening side doors that transform into attack positions. Can you imagine rolling this bad boy across your LEGO® City streets? The attention to detail extends to the pizza place above, where Shredder's evil scheme unfolds right over the turtles' heads.

Speaking of characters, this collection brings together the whole gang. The four turtle brothers face off against classic villains Shredder, Krang, Bebop, and Rocksteady in an all-out street battle. Krang even gets his massive android body, while April O'Neil joins the action as a minifigure.

The modular building approach makes perfect sense here. Each floor connects smoothly but separates easily, giving you full access to the detailed interior layouts. The sewer lair follows the classic cartoon design with the living room on one side and the kitchen-lab combo on the other.

Now that this radical project has reached the 10K milestone, it moves into the LEGO® Ideas review phase. Will the review board give it the green light? Only time will tell, but turtle power has carried stranger things to victory!
