Just keep building! A brick-built reef has surfaced on LEGO® Ideas, and it brings the whole gang from Finding Nemo and Finding Dory along for the ride. Designer Mr Sci-Fi has packed 2,518 bricks into a project simply called Finding Nemo & Friends, and it already has 1,782 supporters paddling behind it. Have you ever wanted to keep Crush, Dory and that scene-stealing crab on your shelf? Now you can.fis

The character lineup reads like a roll call from the films. Nemo the energetic clownfish, Dory the forgetful blue tang, Crush the 150-year-old sea turtle, his tiny offspring Squirt, teacher Mr. Ray, and Hank the seven-tentacled octopus (a 'septopus', as Dory insists) all appear. There are seagulls squawking 'Mine! Mine! Mine!', a jellyfish, and that comic crab grabbing bubbles from a pipe while declaring 'sweet nectar of life!'

This is a resubmission, and Mr Sci-Fi listened hard to fan feedback. The much-requested dentist office now appears, complete with the aquarium and finger-bashing Darla. Nemo and Squirt got rebuilt from scratch to match the animation more closely, and Mr. Ray gained extra hinge points for better posing. Clever stuff for a builder taking notes from the comments section.

The standout technique here is the diving mask. Anyone who has seen Finding Nemo knows it carries the address 'P. Sherman, 42 Wallaby Way, Sydney', the clue that reunites Nemo with his dad. To nail the tricky nose angle, Mr Sci-Fi used a windscreen piece connected to Technic bricks and hinges. The result looks brilliant, and you could absolutely borrow that trick for your own curved builds.

Want to help this reef reach the surface? Head to LEGO® Ideas, throw your support behind Finding Nemo & Friends, and push it toward the 10,000 goal. Just watch out for those pesky seagulls on the way.
