The KAWS Companion just got a plastic-brick makeover, and it looks the part. Over on Kaws X Lego, builder Abrick6 has recreated the famous crossed-eyes figure using 577 LEGO® pieces, standing a proud 28 cm tall. The colour scheme sticks to grey and white, because (as any Companion fan will tell you) that is exactly how the sculpture exists in the wild.

Getting those proportions right was no small feat. Abrick6 admits to starting over several times, rebuilding the curves and stance until the figure finally looked like the real thing. Anyone who has wrestled with rounded shapes in a square-brick medium knows that feeling, and pulling it off at 28 cm shows real patience at the table. Have you ever scrapped a whole build just to nudge one angle into place?

The clever twist is the minifigure-scale Companion posed right beside the big one. Two versions of the same icon, side by side, one you can hold and one you can display. It is a neat way to celebrate how KAWS and LEGO® both live and breathe the same obsession with detail and collectibility.

The idea started, fittingly, one evening browsing BrickLink. That spark grew into a full tribute to two things the designer loves, art and building, folded into a single grey-and-white creation.

Right now Kaws X Lego sits at 372 supporters on its climb toward the 10,000 needed for the review stage. If a brick-built Companion belongs on your shelf, why not add your vote and give this one a hand (both of them, if you want)?
