Picture this: a charming French alley where the scent of vintage perfumes mingles with the snip-snap of stylish scissors. La Belle Ruelle by Santheg has charmed its way to 10,000 supporters and now sits under official LEGO® review. This delightful modular building brings together two quintessentially French shops in one brilliant street scene that feels like stepping into a storybook.

The left side houses Hair Style, a bustling salon complete with vintage chairs and all the tools needed to give Granny her weekly trim. Monsieur Greenhorn waits patiently with his book while the legendary "Invisible" (a local street artist, naturally) gets his locks perfected. Meanwhile, the right side showcases Brick Scent perfumery, where customers browse shelves lined with awesome bottles and potions. The clever bay window with wood paneling catches your eye immediately, while that medieval-style staircase creates the perfect connection between both shops and leads to the hairdresser's cozy apartment above.

Santheg started with dreams of a double building housing a salon, but the perfumery idea came from his wife (brilliant input there!). The build technique showcases fantastic attention to detail, from the ornate window decorations to the thoughtfully arranged interior spaces. Six minifigures bring the scene to life, including a photographer capturing postcards from the upstairs terrace and a clown cycling past on his bicycle.

What makes La Belle Ruelle shine is its storytelling power. Every corner tells a tale, every character has purpose, and every piece contributes to that irresistible French village atmosphere. The modular design means it connects seamlessly with other buildings, while advanced building techniques promise a rewarding construction experience. This project proves that the best LEGO® sets transport you somewhere wonderful with just plastic bricks and a dash of imagination.
