Designer EvLeFri received a Mother's Day drawing from her son, pink and white flowers in a blue-and-white vase, and instead of just hanging it on the wall (which she did, of course), she grabbed her bricks and recreated it. The result is a 656-piece botanical display you can keep blooming all year long.

What makes this build so clever is how it captures a single plant at three different moments at once. The Bleeding Heart flower (Lamprocapnos spectabilis, for the botany fans keeping score) naturally grows its blossoms in overlapping stages, so EvLeFri built them that way. You get budding hearts that have not fully formed, dark pink hearts in full bloom, and pale pink hearts in their withering days. Have you ever seen a LEGO® model show a flower aging gracefully? The vase deserves its own round of applause. Decorated with an ornamental blue-and-white pattern, it does more than look pretty from every angle.
