LEGO® BrickLink Designer Program Series 9 Revealed: 5 Fan-Built Sets, One 4,027-Piece Fisherman's Village

Five fan-designed models, one crowdfunding window, and roughly 12,500 pieces of fresh plastic. BrickLink, the LEGO® Group's own marketplace, has pulled the tarp off the final lineup for BrickLink Designer Program Series 9, and this round leans hard into cosy places you would want to live in (or at least drop a minifigure into). Official prices, piece counts and images are out, so it is time to start clearing shelf space and doing some very serious sums.

The Series 9 Lineup at a Glance

Top of the pile is 910069 Fisherman's Village, a 4,027-piece harbourside scene and the largest set of the series by nearly a thousand bricks. Right behind it sails 910070 Sleepy Dragon Inn, 3,121 pieces of tavern goodness. Anyone who has ever wished their castle layout had somewhere for the knights to sit down and grumble about dragons, here is your answer.

910071 Wild West Blacksmith brings 2,533 pieces of frontier forge, while 910072 Woodbrick Freight Depot stacks up 2,252 pieces for the train crowd. Rounding things off (and rescuing your wallet) is 910073 Pumpkin Patch, a 614-piece seasonal build. Small set, big autumn energy.

Pre-orders open on 6 October 2026 at 8am Pacific Time, which is 15:00 UTC or 17:00 in Denmark and most of Central Europe. The window shuts on 12 October at 3pm Pacific Time, 22:00 UTC, so you get six days to make up your mind. Each model needs 3,000 pre-orders to go into production, and the household limit sits at two copies per set. Nobody is building a second Fisherman's Village just to sell it on. The BrickLink Designer Program keeps its demand-based production model for Series 9. Every set is guaranteed a run of up to 30,000 copies, and if one model sells more slowly than its siblings, the leftover capacity shifts over to whichever set fans are snapping up fastest. Clever, right? It means the popular builds have room to grow past their starting allocation. The trade-off is time. Successful models start shipping from March 2027, so that Pumpkin Patch will arrive well after the pumpkins have gone soft. Think of it as a very long build-up to the build.

Buying the whole series lands just under nine cents per brick. Fisherman's Village, Sleepy Dragon Inn and Wild West Blacksmith all hover around 8.7 cents per piece, Pumpkin Patch dips to roughly 8.1 cents, and Woodbrick Freight Depot sits highest at close to 9.8 cents. Your mileage will vary depending on how many big rocks and roof slopes each set hides inside, but these are the numbers to argue about in the group chat.
