Electronic music's most famous robots just hit play inside the LEGO® universe. The LEGO® Group and Daft Punk have announced a partnership spanning products, content and events, and the first track on the setlist is Daft Punk Concert, the LEGO® Ideas project that recreates the pyramid stage from the Alive 2007 tour.

The teaser dropped the night before, on the Daft Punk - WDPK 83.7 broadcast, with a 30-second clip and a single red 2x4 brick seen from below (those three tubes have never looked so much like speaker woofers!).

Look at the Daft Punk Concert for ten seconds and the charm clicks. The pyramid packs around 2,000 pieces into an angle-heavy design, and the builders had to dream up clever tricks to wedge triangles into a system that loves squares. Inside, a motor spins a box of transparent pieces with lights dangling from it, mimicking the Alive 2007 light show on a shelf-sized scale. Two helmeted minifigures manning the console round out the picture.

Behind the stage are Patrick Harboun, who goes by RobotRock, and his son, a Luxembourg duo who started building in 2020 to beat lockdown boredom. The son put together the first prototype from the pieces lying around the house, and his dad took the idea digital.

The project won the Grand Prize in the Music to Our Ears challenge that year, returned to LEGO® Ideas in October 2024 to go “One More Time”, and reached 10,000 supporters on 22 March 2025. This time, luck really did show up (Get Lucky, as they'd say themselves).

So which parts of the pyramid survive the jump to the official version? The motor? The lights? Helmets printed with that gold and silver shine? The announcement keeps it secret and only promises more news in 2027. Until then, the best way to pass the time is to crack open your own parts bin and build your own DJ booth, because there's no single right way to build a stage.
