Remember the chaos of the Wilkerson household? A fan builder called Airbricks95 has recreated the legendary home from Malcolm in the Middle in 4,147 LEGO® pieces, and timed it beautifully for the show's new episodes arriving in April. The whole thing sits at minifigure scale and stays faithful to the on-screen version, right down to the wonderfully overstuffed garage.

Open it up and you get every room you'd hope for: the kitchen, the small living room with its television, the entryway, the master bedroom, the cluttered garage, and the family car. What makes this build sing is how much of the furniture is brick-built rather than printed. Sofas, wardrobes, a wall clock, an ironing board, bedside lamps, and even a little swing all come together stud by stud. There's a turkey on the dining table too, because this is a family that knows how to gather (chaotically) for a meal.

The garage might be the cleverest gag of all. It's packed with a hammer, screwdriver, tool cabinets, and DIY bits, and a manual system opens and closes the door. True to the series, it's so crammed with junk that the car will never actually fit inside. Have you ever seen a model turn a design flaw into the punchline on purpose?

The set brings the whole family along as minifigures: Lois, Hal, Malcolm, Reese, Dewey, and Francis. Airbricks95 also kept stickers to a bare minimum, just five in total, so the joy of building leads the way. That's a builder who respects your time at the table.

The Malcolm in the Middle project currently sits at 4,694 supporters on its climb toward the 10,000 needed to reach the LEGO® review stage. If one glimpse of that house sends you straight back to the sofa, why not add your vote and help the Wilkersons find a permanent home in brick form?
