"Oh yeah, it's all coming together!" Builder BrickBob_Studpants just rode the rollercoaster straight to the finish line, because The Emperor's New Groove: Kuzco's Palace has reached the full 10,000 supporters on LEGO® Ideas and now heads into official review. Not bad for a self-absorbed emperor who spends half his movie as a llama, eh?

The timing is perfect, since The Emperor's New Groove turns 25 this year. The model packs 4,356 pieces into Kuzco's gloriously pompous palace, with a detailed facade for display up front and a fully furnished open back for playing out every memorable scene. Ever wanted to build a throne so tall it borders on ridiculous? This one delivers, flanked by two loyal guards and ready for your best over-the-top emperor impression.
Around the back you get the dining room (poisoned drink and a lonely stalk of broccoli included), the room housing Kuzco's tiny Kuzcotopia model of Pacha's village, and, best of all, Yzma's secret lab with its owl-shaped potion cupboard. The clever bit? Pull the right lever and a secret door flips open, sending you down the rollercoaster to the laboratory below. Pull the wrong one and, well, who put THAT lever there anyway?
The minifigure lineup runs six characters deep, several with multiple versions. Kuzco arrives in both human and llama form, Pacha brings his heart of gold, and Yzma comes in her jungle dress, her lab coat, and even her cat shape. Kronk gets a regular and lab-coat variant, poor Rudy makes the cut, and two palace guards round out the roster.
Since the project has already cleared 10,000 supporters, the next groove belongs to the LEGO® Ideas review team. Fancy seeing Kuzco's Palace on a shelf near you? Keep your fingers crossed, and maybe don't touch any suspicious levers while you wait.
