Picture a sunny October afternoon, warm colors overhead, leaves crunching underfoot. That is exactly what The Autumn Forest captures, and the LEGO® Ideas community loves it. Designed by CoasterZoom, this 4,891-piece woodland has hit 10,000 supporters and now sits in the LEGO® review phase. Not bad for a stroll through the trees, right?

Here is where the numbers get lovely. The finished model measures roughly 49 cm wide, 65 cm long, and 42 cm high, with a road running straight through it and a little stream burbling alongside. Eleven trees fill the scene, and every single one is unique: a weeping willow, a birch, a poplar, an oak, a beech, a common hornbeam, a chestnut, a small white ash, plus a mix of fir and spruce for that lovely conifer contrast. Each wears its own shade of autumn.

The wildlife roster reads like a nature documentary in brick form. You get an owl, a fox, two cats, a woodcutter's dog, squirrels, pigeons, frogs, an otter, and a deer, all sharing the forest with a runner, a photographer, and an elderly couple feeding the birds. And can we talk about the mushrooms? Fly agarics and all sorts dot the pebble paths, right down to a peaceful bench by the water.

The best trick might be the modular design. The whole thing displays as one piece, or you can split it into three sections to lose the road and shrink the forest. Fancy scattering these trees around your own LEGO® city? Pop off the black base, build small brick stands, and rearrange them however your imagination fancies. That is genuinely smart building.

Marc built this because autumn, in his words, is a fabulous source of inspiration, and it shows in every red and orange leaf. With the full 10,000 supporters gathered, The Autumn Forest now waits on LEGO®'s verdict. Fingers crossed the leaves keep falling in our favor!
