Your heart just grew three sizes. A brand-new LEGO® Ideas project called The Grinch: Whoville recreates the whole snowy, curly-roofed world of the 2000 film The Grinch, and it has already reached the full 10,000 supporters needed to enter LEGO® review. Designed by papoy2T, this festive build packs 4,218 pieces into one gloriously detailed holiday display. Ready to feel like a Who?

The main model gathers all the film's greatest hits under one roof: the post office where poor Cindy Lou gets wrapped up like a present, the town hall of the Whobilation 2000, Cindy Lou's light-covered house, and Mount Crumpit with the Grinch's cave tucked inside. Open them up and you find kitchens, bedrooms, mailboxes (including the Grinch's own), and even the infamous razor from the young Grinch flashback. Have you ever spotted this much storytelling crammed into a single set?

The rounded, tilted shapes of Whoville are the real magic trick here. Getting those swoopy, off-kilter buildings to look right takes some seriously clever parts wrangling (curvy Who-architecture does not come easy in a world of rectangular bricks). The top of Mount Crumpit even uses tiny micro-scale trees, sled and magnifying glass to fake a forced-perspective effect, so the mountain feels taller than it really is. That is a brilliant bit of design thinking.

Four smaller side builds round things out, from Martha May's speedy light installer to the stolen car and the Grinch's gift-hauling sled. Eight minifigures complete the cast, including two versions of the Grinch (Santa suit and Who disguise, with swappable hair), Cindy Lou, Martha May, the Mayor, Lou Lou, Betty Lou, and of course Max the dog with his little fake antler.

Designer papoy2T has been waiting a long time to see this holiday classic turned into plastic, and now it sits in the hands of the LEGO® review team. Would you clear a shelf for the whole of Whoville this December? Keep an eye on this merry little mountain and see whether the Grinch finally sleighs his way to shelves.
