Ever wanted to send a violin-playing sibling, a time-hopping teenager, and a talking chimpanzee under one Gothic roof? Now you can dream about it in bricks. The Umbrella Academy is a new LEGO® Ideas project from builder BrickBob_Studpants, and it recreates the moody mansion from the award-winning Netflix series in a full 4,566-piece package.

The centerpiece is the manor itself, a four-story Gothic-style house sitting on a 32x32 baseplate. Here is the part that makes builders grin: the floors separate and the back panel lifts away, so you get complete access to every room inside. The ground-floor foyer packs a chandelier, stained glass windows, and a grand staircase, while the living room, bedrooms, Sir Reginald's office, and a hall of paintings fill the levels above. Fancy a rummage through the display cabinets? They hide easter eggs from all four seasons.

The roof is where the clever touches keep coming, with a removable greenhouse, an observatory, and a few trees. Flip to the backyard and you will spot Ben's memorial statue plus the swirling portal that finally drops Five back into the present (fire extinguisher included, naturally). It is a proper dollhouse-style build with a superhero twist, and the layered interior shows off some really smart space-saving choices.

Then there is the minifigure roster, and it is a big one. Twelve characters come along for the ride: Luther, Diego, Allison, Klaus, Five, ghostly Ben, and the seventh sibling with two hairpieces for both his Vanya and Viktor looks. Sir Reginald, Pogo the chimp, android mom Grace, and masked Commission agents Hazel and Cha-Cha round out the family, and a display stand keeps them all in a tidy row.

The project sits at 1,024 supporters on its way to the 10,000 needed for LEGO® review. If a brick-built Gothic manor stuffed with super-powered siblings sounds like your kind of chaos, why not head over and back The Umbrella Academy? Just maybe keep an eye on the tentacle monster in Ben's stomach.
