Team Seven just wrapped another mission, and they are slurping ramen to celebrate. That is the scene DadiTwins captured in Naruto: Ichiraku Ramen Shop, a fan-built tribute to one of the most beloved noodle bars in all of Naruto. The project reached the full 10,000 supporters on LEGO® Ideas, which is no small feat for a manga-themed build. (LEGO® later reviewed it and passed, but the story of how it got there is a great one, dattebayo!)

The model recreates the cozy Konoha eatery as it appears during the Land of Waves arc, just before the Chunin exams. At around 1,600 pieces and a footprint of 22 by 24 studs, the build packs in a surprising amount of warmth. The ground floor holds a working kitchen and a four-seat ramen bar, while the upper level invents something the anime never showed: Teuchi's little apartment, complete with a bedroom and bathroom reachable by a rear staircase. Have you ever wondered what was above your favorite fictional restaurant?

The minifigures are where fans will grin widest. Seven characters come along for the meal, including Naruto Uzumaki, Sasuke Uchiha, Sakura Haruno, Kakashi Hatake, shop owner Teuchi Ichiraku, his daughter Ayame, and academy teacher Iruka Umino. Every face is double-sided with two expressions, and each figure carries personalized accessories. That is a clever way to squeeze maximum playability out of a small set.

DadiTwins built this because they could not believe such a popular Naruto universe had no LEGO® set to call its own. With 72 manga volumes and over 700 anime episodes to choose from, picking one location was the hardest part. They landed on Ichiraku because it sparks happy memories for fans and looks inviting even to newcomers who just love ramen. Smart thinking, since the ramen alone makes the model a charmer.

Though LEGO® did not greenlight this one, the project proves something exciting: a manga-and-anime build can rally thousands of fun-loving builders. Who knows what the next ninja-themed pitch might cook up? Grab your chopsticks and keep dreaming, master builders!
