LEGO® Ideas Fan Builds Bob’s Burgers Restaurant Complete with Mini Belchers

The Belchers are open for business again. Only this time, their restaurant is made entirely of LEGO® bricks. Longtime fan Greygo has returned to the LEGO® Ideas platform with Bob’s Burgers: Grand Re-Opening, a 2,991-piece love letter to the show’s chaotic charm. It’s his second attempt after the first one didn’t pass review. Like Bob himself, he just kept flipping.

The Building with the Smell of Stories

If you know the animated series, you know the building. Faded green facade, narrow layout, quirky upstairs apartment, it’s all here. The first floor recreates the greasy glory of Bob’s diner: the “Burger of the Day” chalkboard, the perpetually broken bathroom, and that tiny kitchen window where Bob yells for help.

The upper floors transform into the family’s cramped living quarters, each room bursting with character. Tina’s Friend Fiction notebook, Gene’s keyboard, Louise’s Kuchi Kopi lamp, they’re all tucked in.

You can almost hear Linda singing about wine night.

A Modular Burger Joint

Greygo made it modular. The walls pull away, the roof lifts off, and it slides neatly next to any LEGO® Modular Building. That means you can now have a burger place next to your Brick Bank or Assembly Square. It’s the first time Bob’s Burgers might share a street with a Parisian Restaurant without anyone calling the health inspector.

Behind the building, a grimy dumpster scene hides a fan-favorite Easter egg: Little King Trashmouth clutching Bob’s sock. It’s absurd, specific, and absolutely perfect.

Why It Works

This project hits the sweet spot between LEGO® nostalgia and pop culture obsession. It’s a sitcom reimagined in studs. The minifigure cast feels alive, Bob’s exasperation, Tina’s deadpan stare, Gene’s eternal enthusiasm. Even Teddy, the loyal customer, looks ready to fix a leak or ruin a fryer.

The set mirrors what makes the show great: cluttered optimism wrapped in chaos. Every corner tells a joke. Every floor hides a story. If approved, this set could be the next cult favorite.
