Batten down the hatches, brick builders! A swashbuckling new LEGO® Ideas project has sailed into review territory. The Old Skull, a magnificently detailed pirate-themed restaurant, just crossed the legendary 10,000 supporter threshold and now awaits judgment from the LEGO Review Board.

Creator Bricky_BrickFan has crafted something truly special with this 2,757-piece corner building. This isn't your average modular structure, mateys. The Old Skull combines restaurant atmosphere with pirate adventure in ways that'll make your inner buccaneer sing sea shanties. Want to dine inside massive skeleton jaws? Check. Fancy a meal while a shark appears to leap from the water? Double check.

The building's irregular design breaks traditional modular conventions in the best possible way. A ship's stern juts dramatically from the second floor, creating visual interest that would make any AFOL's treasure chest overflow with joy. The three-story structure includes restaurant space, cozy apartment quarters, and a rooftop terrace perfect for spotting enemy vessels on the horizon.

Technical specs show this beast measures nearly 30 centimeters in all directions and tips the scales at 2.5 kilograms. The set includes seven minifigures plus a monkey, shark, and seagull to complete the maritime scene. Every floor features authentic chimney smoke extraction, because even pirates need proper ventilation when cooking their grub.

The attention to detail sparkles like doubloons in sunlight. Candles flicker throughout the restaurant interior, barrels store mysterious contents, and palm leaves create tropical ambiance. The bony captain's chair on the second floor offers premium seating for the most distinguished scallywags.
Will this treasure of a build make it past the Review Board's scrutiny? Only time will tell, but with its modular building compatibility and creative pirate theming, The Old Skull has serious potential to join the official LEGO Ideas fleet,
