Ever wished your minifigures could spend a whole Saturday wandering a furniture showroom, filling a giant yellow bag, and rewarding themselves with meatballs? That dream now has a floor plan. The IKEA City Store is a three-story LEGO® build by designer Lex B, and it captures the full big-blue-box experience in brick form (flat-pack sold separately, thankfully).

Each level does its own job, just like the real thing. The ground floor packs in tables, shelves, toys, and accessories, plus the warehouse and the all-important check-out (because someone always forgets one thing and doubles back). Head upstairs to the first floor for those famous room-set vignettes, a bathroom, a kitchen, and a bedroom display, all staged and ready to inspire a minifigure home makeover.

The top floor is where things get cozy. Couches, chairs, and the beloved IKEA restaurant all live here, and yes, the menu is on brand. Think cinnamon rolls, Swedish meatballs, and hot dogs, the trio that has fuelled countless real-world shopping trips. Can you spot how a builder turns tiny food details into an entire dining scene? That is the kind of clever detail work that makes a MOC sing.

What ties it all together is the branding. Lex B loaded the model with IKEA products and signage so the whole thing genuinely reads as a store rather than just a generic shop, a smart move that gives the build its personality. Drop it into your LEGO® city and suddenly every minifigure has somewhere to buy a new bookshelf.

The IKEA City Store currently has 1,265 supporters on its journey toward the 10,000 needed for LEGO® review, with 58 comments cheering it along. Fancy giving it a push? Head over and cast your vote, no Allen key required.
