The Beetlejuice LEGO® Ideas project has officially reached the magical 10,000 supporter milestone! This spooktacular build, created by Brick Built Labs, captures Tim Burton's iconic Maitland House in all its ghostly glory. The project now enters the review phase where LEGO® designers will decide if this haunted house deserves a spot on store shelves. And yes, if this sounds familiar, it is because this is the second Beetlejuice project to hit 10,000 supporters, we recently covered the first one by BRICK PROJECT right here on brick.news.

What makes this Beetlejuice set truly special? The builder took a clever modular approach to recreate the famous house where the ghostly Maitlands battle the Deetz family over some seriously questionable interior design choices. Burton's distinctive architectural vision shines through every brick-built detail. Where BRICK PROJECT's version opted for a dollhouse-style vertical cross-section with approximately 2,800 pieces and seven minifigures, Brick Built Labs takes a different path, focusing on the modular exterior, interactive play features, and a broader cast of Netherworld characters.

Picture this: staging the chaotic dinner party scene, sending the Maitlands on their bizarre trip to the Netherworld waiting room, or building up to that climactic finale. The attic even includes a chimney door, chute, and light brick casting an eerie green glow, perfect for summoning everyone's favorite bio-exorcist.

Speaking of characters, the minifigure lineup looks absolutely killer. You get Adam and Barbara Maitland complete with alternate exorcism faces (because who doesn't need multiple expressions when dealing with the recently deceased?). The Deetz family rounds out with Charles, Delia, and the wonderfully goth Lydia. Otho makes an appearance too, probably critiquing the brick color choices. The set also includes Miss Argentina and the Magician's Assistant from the Netherworld Waiting Room, bringing that signature Burton weirdness to your LEGO® collection.

Will LEGO® give this project the green light? You can visit the project on LEGO® Ideas to show your support and see all the fantastic details.

Two Beetlejuice projects in the same review is a clear signal that the demand for this theme is real. If LEGO® decides to move forward with a Beetlejuice set, the question becomes: which one should make it to the shelf? The dollhouse-style vertical build by BRICK PROJECT with its floor-by-floor storytelling and sandworm, or this modular, play-focused version by Brick Built Labs with its light brick attic and wider Netherworld cast?
