All aboard for Sodor. A builder called Shredhead757 has rolled a green warehouse into the LEGO® Ideas station with the Brendam Docks Freight Station, a loving tribute to Thomas & Friends and the busy port where his favourite characters clock in for work. It has already gathered 1,913 supporters, and once you see the roof trick, you might reach for the vote button too.

Here is where the building gets genuinely clever. Three tracks run straight through the Brendam Docks Freight Station, with two more flanking either side, so cargo can flow in and out like a proper working dockyard. Both halves of the roof hinge open and lift away (yes, both sides!) to reveal an attic warehouse and a gantry crane spanning all three platforms. The build is the centrepiece of Shredhead757's wider home layout, a full recreation of Sodor's main port. He has surrounded it with a cast of dockside favourites: Cranky the Crane, dockside shunters Salty and Porter, the mischievous Troublesome Trucks, and clay-hauling saddle tanks Bill and Ben. Harold the Helicopter buzzes overhead, and a few faces from the 1989 spinoff Tugs bob alongside, including tugboats Ten Cents and Sunshine.

Shredhead757 counts himself among the model and LEGO® train fans who never quite grew out of Thomas & Friends, a show that ran from 1984 to 2021 across some 500 episodes. His pitch is simple and sincere. He wants to see the little blue engine and his friends brought to life in bricks, and this station is his happy first stop.
