The wait is over. LEGO® Ideas launched its It's Time to Duel! challenge back in February, inviting fans to build their favourite moments from the Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters anime. Hundreds of creations poured in, five outstanding finalists survived the expert review stage, and now the most important card in the deck belongs to you.

The fan vote opened on 14 April 2026, and you have until 28 April 2026 to cast it. A free LEGO® Ideas account is all you need. The winning design will be announced no later than 10 September 2026.

Each of these five fan builds pulls from the Battle City or Duelist Kingdom arcs, and every single one is a love letter written in bricks. Click each title to see the full build and cast your vote:

Before you go all-in, there is one rule worth knowing. The LEGO® Ideas review board holds the final decision on which build becomes an official set. A high vote count is a powerful signal, but it is not a guaranteed win (think of it as drawing a strong hand, not flipping over Exodia). The winning fan designer still collects a fantastic prize: 1% of total net sales, ten complimentary copies of the final set, and a credit as the official LEGO® Ideas Fan Designer.

The five runners-up each take home a selection of five recent LEGO® Ideas sets. Not a bad consolation for creating something this brilliant.
