The very first LEGO® KPop Demon Hunters set has just leapt from Netflix to your shelf, and what a wonderfully clumsy debut it is. Say hello to the 72537 Derpy Tiger and Sussie Bird, an 825-piece build that captures the chaos-causing blue tiger and his six-eyed magpie sidekick straight from the animated smash hit. LEGO® gave us a sneak peek at this KPop Demon Hunters theme back in February, and now this bumbling delivery duo has officially arrived, with pre-orders opening today and full release set for 1 August 2026. Ready to give this mythic menace pride of place in your collection?

This is where the clever stuff comes into play. Derpy takes inspiration from the babo horangi, the "foolish tiger" of Korean minhwa folk painting, and the model nails that fantastic expression with a printed goofy grin you can swap out for a love note dangling from his tongue (yes, the pieces for both faces are tucked away in the box). The head, legs, and paws all move, Sussie gets a rotating neck and adjustable feet, and the little magpie perches right on top of Derpy's head like a wonderfully judgemental hat. Stash away the two love notes, reading "Hello friend" and "Save the date", plus the tip-over flower vase inside the secret compartment hidden in Derpy's noggin, then pose the pair however your imagination sees fit. There's no single right way to build this mischievous scene, so let your creativity run wild. Standing around 21 cm tall, this fantastic display piece is priced at 69.99 USD, 69.99 €, 59.99 £, 119.99 AUD, and the whole design feels like a brilliant sculpture of pure cheekiness.

This brick-built tiger arrives with a backstory that every LEGO® Ideas fan will love. Builders had already dreamed up their own version, and you might recall how the fan-made K-Pop Demon Hunters tiger and crow project hit 10,000 votes and entered official LEGO® review long before this set existed. The KPop Demon Hunters energy hasn't cooled down either, because the community keeps gaining momentum. Take a look at the new LEGO® Ideas K-Pop Demon Hunters Huntrix Brickibis project, now up for public vote, from designer Marcos Bessa, and then ask yourself whether this could become the first proper K-pop LEGO® set as the Demon Hunters Huntrix Brickibis build chases supporters. With more KPop Demon Hunters sets confirmed for 2027 and minifigures still being rumoured, Derpy is only the opening act. So, will you let this clumsy guardian knock a flower vase across your shelf, or keep him frozen mid-mischief for everyone to admire?
