Today marks a day that music lovers and brick builders, get ready to strike a chord! A passionate AFOL has submitted a LEGO® Ideas project celebrating Ludwig van Beethoven's 200th anniversary with a wonderfully detailed piano scene that captures the essence of classical composition in brick form.

This compact yet elegant 358-piece set places the legendary composer as a minifigure on a small stage, complete with a historically-inspired piano that draws design elements from both the Érard (1803) and Graf (1826) instruments Beethoven actually played. The attention to musical detail really hits the right notes!

What makes this build special? The creator includes removable sheet music for "Für Elise" as a functional play feature, plus a printed 2x2 tile for added authenticity. Even more touching, the back of the sheet music features a reproduction of Beethoven's grave in Vienna, Austria, adding a respectful memorial element to the display.

The scene comes together with thoughtful accessories including a piano stool, table with candles, and sheet music that transform this into a proper musical vignette. At dimensions of 12.2 cm high, 12.8 cm wide, and 20.1 cm deep, it's perfectly sized for display on any music room shelf or desk.

Currently gathering support on the LEGO® Ideas platform, this project needs 10,000 supporters to have a chance at becoming an official set. With March 26, 2027 marking exactly 200 years since Beethoven's passing, the timing couldn't be more perfect for this classical tribute.

Could this become the next great LEGO® Ideas set to harmonize history with building? Music enthusiasts and brick fans alike might find this project strikes all the right chords between education, display value, and pure building joy.
