The curtain rises on another exciting chapter for LEGO® Muppets fans! Creator LEE40's ambitious Muppet Theatre project has just crossed the magical 10,000 supporter threshold on LEGO® Ideas, earning its ticket to the official review stage.

This isn't just any ordinary theatre build, folks. We're talking about a complete playset that captures nearly 50 years of Muppet magic in brick form. The creator has completely redesigned the exterior based on The Muppets Go to the Movies, complete with "1976" proudly displayed on top to celebrate when The Muppet Show first graced our television screens.

What makes this build truly spectacular? Picture a 32x32 stud modular building containing just under 4,000 pieces that transforms from a handsome street-facing facade into the iconic Muppet Theatre stage we all know and love. The genius lies in its functionalit, it's a genuine playset with built-in storage drawers for minifigures and accessories.

The technical wizardry doesn't stop there. LEE40 has engineered an ingenious scene-change system using double-sided backdrop walls. Six different backgrounds can rotate on stage while additional scenes slide into storage underneath. Want to switch from Pigs in Space to Swedish Chef's Kitchen? No problem! The mechanism handles everything from the opening song to Veterinarian's Hospital with smooth precision.

Speaking of characters, this project proposes an incredible roster of 18 minifigures, including Kermit in a tuxedo, the complete Electric Mayhem band, and those beloved hecklers Statler and Waldorf. The attention to detail extends to costume changes - Rowlf, Janice, and Miss Piggy don scrubs for their medical sketches.

Will this theatrical masterpiece make it through LEGO®'s review process? Previous Muppet-themed Ideas projects have found success, proving there's definitely an appetite for more felt-and-plastic collaborations. The modular design means it would fit perfectly alongside other Creator Expert buildings, giving AFOL collectors another reason to expand their brick cities.
