The centerpiece is Appa in mid-flight, and getting that big furry shape right in bricks is no small feat (six legs and all). Perched around him you get five key minifigures: Aang, Katara, Sokka, Toph, and Zuko. Every fan's favorite team, present and accounted for.
What makes this build extra fun are the little touches that capture the spirit of the show. There are elemental bending pieces for fire and water, so you can pose your benders mid-battle, plus Sokka's trusty boomerang (it always comes back, right?). Those swirling cloud sections beneath Appa are a lovely bit of building too, giving the whole scene a real sense of floating adventure.
The designer, Firecracker_, calls Avatar: The Last Airbender their favorite show of all time, and that love shows in every stud. The series ran from 2005 to 2008 and still earns praise two decades later, with Netflix currently filming more of its live-action adaptation and Avatar Studios cooking up fresh films and series. The timing for a LEGO® set could not be better.
