Somebody at LEGO® Ideas hit publish a little early. The results of the first 2026 review surfaced ahead of schedule, and they crown three fan builds from 97 qualifiers: Interstellar by Minibrick41587, Tulip Field Windmill by HisBrickMaterials and Chinese Cork Carving Art by GenericBrix. LEGO® has not confirmed the list yet, and the official reveal is expected on Monday 9 November.

LEGO® Ideas Interstellar Ranger by Minibrick41587 with Cooper, Dr. Brand, TARS and CASE
Interstellar by Minibrick41587

Minibrick41587, the fan designer behind 21345 Polaroid OneStep SX-70 Camera, packs 561 pieces into the Interstellar Ranger. Lift the roof and you find seats for Cooper and Dr. Brand, room for TARS and CASE in the cockpit, and an opening rear hatch. This is the builder's second run at the Ranger, so persistence clearly pays off in docking manoeuvres. (Still craving Nolan? The Interstellar bookend waits in the next review.)

Max Lambrecht, aka HisBrickMaterials, already gave us 21366 Floating Sea Otters, and now he swaps the river for Dutch fields. His Tulip Field Windmill turns working blades above a furnished interior and rows of brick-built tulips. Grab your clogs.

LEGO® Ideas Chinese Cork Carving Art by GenericBrix in nougat and tan tones
Chinese Cork Carving Art by GenericBrix

GenericBrix built Chinese Cork Carving Art from 1,273 pieces in four nougat and tan shades, including 14 recoloured parts. Tilt it to the right angle and a giant tree appears out of stacked arches, clipped wings and minifigure mohawks. Who knew a hairpiece could make such convincing foliage?

Pulling Into the Parking Lot

Two more projects pull into the Parking Lot: The Fifth Element Korben Dallas Taxi by MarinBrickDesign, all 31.4 cm of it, and the 304-piece Plants vs. Zombies Peashooter by DistinguishedCrow. LEGO® Ideas opened the Parking Lot in 2025 as a waiting bay for strong projects that need extra time, often for licence talks with partners. A project can stay for up to three review periods before a final yes or no. Parking guarantees nothing (The Golden Girls left without a set), but Daft Punk Concert proved the route works when it rolled out with approval in October. Catch up on our Fifth Element taxi and Peashooter coverage, or see how Lunch Atop a Skyscraper landed there first.

Plenty of 10K Club favourites did not appear on the leaked list, including One Direction Wembley Stadium, the 3,793-piece Anfield Stadium for Liverpool FC, Schitt's Creek Rosebud Motel, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, the Rocket League Playset, InterBrick's LNER Class A1 Flying Scotsman and Larry_land1's Chinese Folding Screen. Their builders can resubmit and chase 10,000 supporters again, so no idea ever truly runs out of road. Which of the three winners claims your shelf first?
