Ever wanted to walk through Pelican Town without waking up at 6am to water your parsnips? Builder BrickStig has recreated the beating heart of Stardew Valley in more than 4,500 LEGO® pieces, and it is exactly as cosy as fans of Eric Barone's farming smash hit would hope. The project, called Stardew Valley: Pelican Town, has gathered 8,783 supporters on LEGO® Ideas and it is closing in on the 10,000 finish line.

The model brings together the town's most recognisable landmarks. You get Pierre's General Store fused to the Stardew Valley Clinic (that oddly shaped joint roof was, by BrickStig's own admission, a proper head-scratcher), the fully restored Community Centre complete with its board of stars, the Stardrop Saloon with a tiny brick-built arcade machine, the Museum and Library, Lewis's Manor, and the soul-sucking Jojamart. Ever tried to fit a working reception desk, a bookshelf and a fish tank into a plastic building the size of your palm? BrickStig did, and the roofs lift off so you can peek inside every one.

The character roster is where the heart really shows. Fourteen minifigures turn up, from mayor Lewis clutching his lucky purple shorts to Abigail wielding her longsword (and a snack of amethyst, naturally). There is Harvey with his coffee and model plane, Maru with her inventor's wrench, and Shane with his blue chicken. Best of all, three Junimos hide around the build as custom printed bricks, and fan-favourite void spirit Krobus gets a clever brick-built upper body with posable minifigure legs.

That mix of tricky architecture and lovingly chosen characters is what makes BrickStig's pitch land. The 2016 indie darling earned a cult following for its relaxing rhythm and warm pixel-art charm, and this build captures that vibe in stud form.
