I have always felt fascinated by dragons, by great lakes and by the oceans. In 2021, LEGO® launched not one, but three sets with water dragons!

My favourite dragon is the Great Protector. It is included in the LEGO® set "Battle at the Ancient Village" from the Marvel theme (76177), based on the legend "The Ten Rings". I consider it one of the most beautiful builds released in 2021. The snout was created with small pieces and is very well realised. The set includes pieces with quite interesting moulds and colours to add to my collection, the build was easy and the dragon has good poseability, allowing a dynamic pose. I decided not to apply the stickers, because I prefer it not to have additional texture.

The Great Protector is also represented in the LEGO® polybag "Shang-Chi and The Great Protector" (30454) with only 55 pieces.

With the other water dragon set, "Nya's Water Dragon" (71754) from the Ninjago theme, comes one of the best minifigures of 2021, the Nya Water Master. She looks even better when built with the base piece (new mould) and transparent coloured accessories. Besides, she represents the personality and the movements of the character from the television animation "Ninjago Season 14: Seabound" in an extraordinary way.

I have LEGO® builds all over my house (home), except in the kitchen. The best place I found to display the Great Protector and the Nya Water Master was the bathroom!
