Fancy a trip home for the holidays, built entirely from bricks? From 25 September 2026, guests at LEGO® House in Billund can explore a special edition of the Masterpiece Gallery, where 17 LEGO® designers from across the globe have each built a personal creation around the theme of coming home for Christmas.

The usual Masterpiece Gallery has spotlighted fan creativity every year since LEGO® House opened in 2017. This time the house handed the spotlight to its own professional designers and colleagues, asking them to build something deeply personal about home, togetherness, travel, and holiday traditions as they know them.

Home is Where the Bricks Are
The results span the whole globe. Danish builder Mads Bergholz Frederiksen sends the famous LEGO® wooden duck family on a festive journey through Billund in Quacking Home for Christmas. Canadian designer Bryce Duyvewaardt turned his regular Denmark-to-Canada commute into an interactive lenticular mosaic made from more than 12,300 pieces (window seat included, naturally). Australian Owen Davis swaps snow for sunshine, putting Santa in shorts and sandals while kangaroos take over reindeer duty.

German builder Isabelle van Vleuten reunited classic LEGO® Pirates figures for a holiday get-together in Friends Since 1989, using original bricks from her own childhood collection. Want a sweeter stop? Maxx Davidson from the USA reimagined LEGO® House itself as a gingerbread masterpiece, minifigures hard at work.
"Masterpiece Gallery has always been about celebrating the creativity, the creations, and the stories people bring to life through LEGO® bricks," said Rasmus Duun, Managing Director of LEGO® House.
The special edition runs only until the end of 2026, so you have a short window to catch all 17 stories. When LEGO® House reopens in early 2027, the gallery returns to AFOL creators for a 10th anniversary edition. Which journey home will you build first?
