Roz has landed on LEGO® Ideas, and she brought the whole island with her. The Wild Robot: Island Display packs 2,889 pieces into one lush micro-scale diorama, and builder CreativeDynamicBuilder spent two months filling every inch with scenes from the movie. The project sits at 1,979 supporters, and it is easy to see why fans keep clicking that button.

The whole build chases the film's painted look, with vibrant colors and one-sided shading that mimics those famous brushstroke frames. CreativeDynamicBuilder borrowed two clever tricks from existing sets: the easter-egg-packed micro island of the Hogwarts Castle and Grounds and the forced-perspective depth of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. Models shrink the further back they sit, so the island feels far bigger than it really is. Have you ever tried faking distance with plastic? It is a genuinely tricky bit of building, and it works beautifully here.

Roz takes center stage, of course, but she shares the island with a fox named Fink, a goose named Brightbill, an opossum, a falcon, a deer, a rabbit, a blue crab, an otter, and a squirrel. Two features get the builder's proudest nod. Vontra's ship arrives in micro-scale (a first for this designer, and a serious challenge crammed into a tiny footprint), while Thorn the bear gets fully brick-built because the molded bear piece simply was not big enough. Curled up in a resting pose, Thorn adds a calm, serene feel to the scene rather than towering over it.

This is a heartfelt tribute from a builder who calls The Wild Robot his favorite animated movie of all time, and that love shows in every studded detail. He is even dreaming up new molds a real set could unlock, from a raccoon that could roam future LEGO® City scenes to fresh pieces for Fink and Brightbill.
