Ever watched a house go up brick by brick and wished you could bottle the whole beautiful, stressful journey? Designer TOMOELL did exactly that, only with LEGO® bricks instead of concrete. The House Construction project packs 2,882 pieces into one sprawling build site that walks you through every phase of raising a home from bare ground to finished facade.

What makes this one sing is the logic baked into it. The build starts at the concrete foundations, complete with integrated sewage pipes (yes, the plumbing gets its moment), then moves through rough brick, concrete, and wood construction, all the way to thermal insulation and wooden facade cladding. Each layer follows the real order a house goes up in, so you rebuild the whole process as you assemble it. How often does a LEGO® set double as a construction tutorial?

Nine minifigures bring the site to life, and their little jobs are half the fun. A worker balances on scaffolding fitting insulation while another mixes concrete at the cement mixer. A plumber drills for cabling from a ladder, a stove builder pieces together a stone fireplace, and the architect pedals in on his bicycle to check the blueprints on his laptop. Front and center stands the client, cradling a baby and gazing at her future bedroom balcony (the emotional heart of the whole thing).

The equipment steals plenty of scenes too. TOMOELL built a compact truck with a trailer hauling a loader, a plate compactor, a table saw, a leveling laser, and a pallet of concrete blocks. A gardener has even planted the first flowerbed and set a tree in a cleared corner. It's the kind of detail that rewards a long, slow look.

Published in June 2026, House Construction has gathered 1,292 supporters and 173 comments so far, and it needs to reach 10,000 to head into the review phase. If you have ever poured your heart into a home of your own, this build might feel a little personal. Ready to lay the foundations for its next milestone?
