Everyone's favourite lasagne-loving, Monday-hating cat has finally been rendered in bricks. Garfield's Dinner Time is a LEGO® Ideas project from builder banStickers, and it captures Garfield exactly where he belongs: parked in a chair, bib on, knife and fork at the ready, staring down a plate of lasagne with pure joy on his face. If you have ever felt that same look on a Friday night, this one is for you.

The build packs the whole scene together. You get Garfield himself, a chair for the big guy to lounge in, and a table topped with his beloved lasagne. The real magic here is the sculpting job. Turning a flat, 2D comic character into a 3D brick model is a genuinely tricky bit of building, and banStickers has worked hard to keep that classic Garfield shape, from the striped fur to the perpetually half-lidded eyes.

Why lasagne? Because you simply cannot build Garfield without his signature dish (it would be like a pizza with no cheese). Every detail leans into what makes the character tick, and that thoughtfulness is what turns a nice model into a display piece fans will actually recognise across a room.

The timing feels smart too. LEGO® fans have seen a wave of cat-themed sets lately, so a brick-built comic feline fits right in with the crowd. And here is the kicker: Garfield turns 50 in just two years, so a LEGO® set would land right in the middle of the celebration. Could there be a better birthday present for a cat who hates surprises?

Garfield's Dinner Time currently sits at 1,464 supporters on its way toward the 10,000 needed to reach the review stage. If you grew up reading the comics, love cats, or just appreciate a clever character build, head over and add your vote. Who's ready to help this hungry cat finally get his dinner?
