Get ready for a thrilling showdown in 2026. LEGOLAND® Billund is set to launch Minifigure Speedway, a dueling roller coaster where families can compete side by side in a race to the finish. This isn’t just any coaster—it’s a LEGO®-themed battle with a lively backstory that starts the moment you join the queue.
A Race Like No Other

The Minifigure Speedway pits team Legends against team All Stars, each led by their own minifigure captain: Corn Cob Guy and Banana Guy. The rivalry? A fuel feud—popcorn vs. banana juice. Guests choose their team and place their bets, but the winner is never certain until the very end.
"What makes Minifigure Speedway truly special is its dueling element," says Michael Ottesen, CEO of LEGOLAND® Billund. "Our guests can challenge each other or settle a friendly wager, because you never know which team will cross the finish line first."
A Towering New Landmark
Standing nearly 17 meters tall, the coaster will be a prominent addition to the park, located between Knights’ Kingdom and Adventure Land. But the real showstopper is Roxie, a 9-meter-tall minifigure—one of the largest in the world. This legendary racer, now retired, serves as the ride’s host, cheering on both teams without taking sides.
"Roxie will tower over the area, impossible to miss," Ottesen adds. "She’ll be a stunning photo opportunity and a striking sight for travelers flying into Billund Airport."

The Countdown Begins
Construction is already underway, and Minifigure Speedway will be ready to rev up the fun when the park opens in 2026. Whether you’re rooting for team Legends or team All Stars, one thing’s for sure: this ride is built for fans of speed, competition, and LEGO® adventure.
